Karen Hancock is a Christian science fiction and fantasy author who currently resides in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Pasadena, California, and earned bachelor's degrees in Biology and Wildlife Biology from the University of Arizona. Her first four novels earned Christy Awards in the Allegory/Visionary category. The Enclave, her most recent work, was released in July 2009 by Bethany House.
